Just because I can

As seen on Oprah August 30th, 2005:
Ebert's list of 8 Must See Movies!
I haven't seen any of them, so let me know if this guy's worth my time.
1. Citizen Kane
2. Casablanca
3. 2001
4. Singing in the Rain
5. Raging Bull
6. Fargo
7. Schindler's List
8. Dead Man Walking

And, no, we don't have tv here at home... I get to watch Oprah at four on weekday afternoons and call it working. Yeay for the clients who like to watch tv- now I know what the mass media is up to.

Up this weekend: Camping with Dad&family in Eagle Lake, CA. BEAUTIFUL and the lows are in the mid-30s. Yikes.

I have wanted to own "Citizen Kane" for a long time, but it's damned expensive. Schindler's List is fantastic, but not for a pick me up. When you're done with that watch Life is Beautiful to give you a shred of hope.
I hate Fargo, but also have it, probably shoved in the TV cabinet somewhere.

2001 : A Space Odyssey is a cool movie. But be prepared for the fact that the pacing is very slow. If you're tired, you will fall asleep. Also, the ending is kinda... well... you'll have to see it.

Casablanca is a classic.

Schindler's List is very well done. You will be sad.

I haven't seen any of the other movies either. Yet somehow I know that Rosebud is a sled. ;)
